Are you willing to travel?
Do you feel it’s a gamble this way?
We may not last past tomorrow
But we can deal with the sorrow we feel 
Today.

Come and join me in the future
We can make it just what we think it should be
But if you feel that time is needed
To make yourself feel complete then
I can break away

No one said this would be easy
Yet you never thought I’d cross your path this way
I guess the folks just never taught us
What to do when love hit us
Can you see a way?

Clear - and as the roadway beckons
We must recognize the way we wish to be
We’re not trading our whole lives in
Or investing all our time in a love that fades away
We won’t fade away

I can see what you’re feeling
But can you feel what I’m giving you today?
Hold on tight and go there with me
We can make it through this journey
We will find a way.

Though we didn’t plan this happening
We can not run from the things we say and feel
Are we ready to test ourselves?
Are we strong enough to best ourselves?
And make it in the real - 
Make it in the real world?
